Nicola Hodges set up Pro-Fit European Resources in 1987 with the aim of focusing on what she saw as a niche and needy market place, namely: Recruiting for IT Innovators who were small but looked certain to grow quickly by dint of the uniqueness and need in the market place for what they were selling and the wisdom to invest in the best people to follow through.

This paid off and some of those companies have become the 'Gorillas' in the market place today i.e Sun Microsystems, Business Objects, Microstrategy, etc.

Nicola's career prior to Pro-Fit was sales focused ranging from trainee sales at Cadbury Schweppes to Internal Sales Management and Field sales at IT giant NCR Computers.
